  1. Who else loves listening to Jay stumble around naming somewhat obscure movies saying; “What else is Aiden Gillen in?” HAHA!

Anyway – love the show, Jay! And I really love the intro and outro music! Very pleasant!

    • Ha ha ha Yeah … one of the many cons to not editing. (I hate stuff like that.) Sorry, y’all.

But thanks for pushing through it, Jenifer. And I’m glad you like Nate Johnivan’s music! Thanks for writing! I’m so happy that you’re still listening.
      -J

      • Since you’re the only one who rose to my bait, I’ll explain my joke; (don’t you hate it when you have to do that?)

He plays one of the most infamous characters on Game of Thrones; Littlefinger.

Just one of those times that I’m right there yelling back at you; “Littlefinger! Jay. He plays Littlefinger! If you’d do your homework and watch Game of Thrones!” Makes it fun though.

  2. Just dropping in to temper your expectations after listening to episode 25. Thanks for taking my recommendation into consideration. Looking forward to your thoughts. However, after your multiple references to prison movies (a complete episode of which would be amazing), I wanted to warn you that The Platform may not be exactly what you expect. Let’s just say, it has more Cube vibes rather than Shotcaller vibes. Not quite fitting into your despised “game movie” genre and definitely a form of prison, The Platform lacks the tropes you may be expecting as a prison-fan, er— prison-movie-fan, more accurately.

Anyways, can’t wait to hear episode 26. Been waiting for more Midsommar thoughts from you that don’t get bogged down in genre specifications like over on Horror Movie Weekly.

    Stay safe.

  3. Jay of the Dead, you hyped up ‘The Wretched’ so much, I was expecting more from it. Still, though, I’ll rate this movie 6/10, ‘a fun Saturday Night rental’, because I had a nice time watching it and I thank you for your recommendation/review.
