  1. I must admit that I have always considered Suspiria to be a bit overhyped. I saw it years ago (essentially as “homework”) and was unimpressed–except by the colors, which are AMAZING. (“Ain’t no blood like Italian blood ’cause Italian blood is SO RED!”) So I guess when it comes to the 1977 film, I’ve been Team Jay. However, I am learning that Dave Zee is hella persuasive, so Imma going to give it another viewing (sadly, not in Ultra 4K with a Bose sound system, but I’ll make it work). Great discussion, boyz!

And happy belated birthday, Mister Watson!

  2. Fantastic show, boys! I was initially underwhelmed by Argento’s Suspiria, but Dave Zee has brought me around. It does have brilliant colors and the most amazing of music. But I would have never watched the remake without this show, and I LOVE it. So creepy and disturbing! Thanks, guys.

  3. In wrestling we talk about Dream Matches all the time, this right here is an example of a Dream Match in podcasting. I’ve been listening to both Jay and Dave for years, and even back then I always wondered what it would be like to have these 2 discuss movies together….I finally got that. This was not only a gift for Watson, but also for fans of both Jay and Dave. Thank you!

P.S. Jay MUST guest on Exploding Heads Horror Movie Podcast. I want to hear an uncensored, unfiltered, ball busting, wise cracking Jay of the dead on that show. It will be epic. Please make it happen
